I am reading this book by Guy Finley and it is one of the best personal development books I’ve read in a long time. Maybe because it’s timely for me, I don’t know, but Guy hits the nail square on the head with this one. I’m Picking Up Good Vibrations

In truth, it’s all about you.  How you feel.

I’m a child of the 50′s.  I grew up all over San Diego County, but when I was younger, we used to hang out at Wind n’ Sea.  This is a surfer beach in La Jolla.  I was just a kid and I remember when the grown-ups used to take a huge steel washtub and fill it full of sliced fruit, seven-up, wine and ice.  It looked very much like something I wanted to try, but alas, as a child, we weren’t allowed.  What was this magical elixir that only grown-ups could drink?  Though it would be several years before this magic elixir made it to store shelf, this is where the real wine coolers had their origins:  surfers.
