I’m a grandmother. I have four grandchildren ages thirteen to one week old. It’s hard to believe sometimes, but it’s true. And because of what I’ve lived, what I’ve gone through, I’ve gained a grandmother’s wisdom as well. And what that wisdom is telling me in this moment is this: Giving can be one of the most important things one can do in this life.
Seriously…
We all go through tough times at some point in our lives. We all go through struggles before we can achieve something extraordinary in our lives. I know I’ve been there. And for me right now, life feels grand. I own my cars; I live in a wonderful place and have a beautiful home, family, friends, and loved ones around me. Read the rest of this entry »

The last few weeks have been a real drag for me. I keep waiting for something to happen, for something to be different-to get over that last bit of the hill and reach law of attraction bliss where all my dreams come true instantaneously. Not that it hasn’t happened before for me, but this time I made the stakes higher.
Hah! What a joke that turned out to be ON ME! I’ve been pushing against my job, my life as it is, reaching and straining for that golden ring every time the merry-go-round goes round. I’m 55 and I’ve been through this cycle a time or two — you would think I would remember? Push, push, push. What you resists persists most definitely. I guess that’s why I always liked cars with manual transmissions – when you’re stalled you can just pop the clutch as long as you’ve got a small hill and the push to get it going.
