In truth, it’s all about you. How you feel.
I’m a child of the 50′s. I grew up all over San Diego County, but when I was younger, we used to hang out at Wind n’ Sea. This is a surfer beach in La Jolla. I was just a kid and I remember when the grown-ups used to take a huge steel washtub and fill it full of sliced fruit, seven-up, wine and ice. It looked very much like something I wanted to try, but alas, as a child, we weren’t allowed. What was this magical elixir that only grown-ups could drink? Though it would be several years before this magic elixir made it to store shelf, this is where the real wine coolers had their origins: surfers. Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve been writing a long time now, long before some of today’s internet users were even thought of by their parents. Long before their parents were old enough to be parents. It’s amazing that with the advent of the internet, everyone thinks they’re a writer.
Stringing words together does not a writer make. Plastering blogs on the internet, does not a writer make. Writers are painters with words. Writers convey information, ideas, feelings, stories, and thoughts. A writer, if he or she is doing their job, should elicit a response within you, positive or negative. Read the rest of this entry »
