I’m a grandmother, a 55-year old woman who’s been active online (with my own websites) now for about two years. I started out online in about 1998, but got side-tracked when we moved onto raw land on the Western Slope of The Sierra and started building our dream house.
That took a while. A lot longer than we originally anticipated.
Which took me off track from creating multiple streams of income online. Had I stuck with it then, things would be different now, but we would more than likely still be living in the city, and well, quite frankly, I’d rather not live in the city. I like wide open spaces. Frees the mind.
So late in 2006, we finally got an internet service that made some sense. Living in a rural area can be hazardous to any kind of serious internet connection. The local phone lines offered no more than 9 kbps, which in these days and ages means you would wait a good hour before the graphics of a page could even load. Hell, a squirrel on a wheel could power up at least 56 kbps which is right where I left off the internet service in 2000.
I ordered HughesNet, which is a satellite service provider. For gamers, this kind of service can be daunting as I understand there is some kind of delay which could really affect their ability to play online. And people who download huge bits of data can reach a maximum pretty quickly, but for the average user and online business developer this can be a great alternative to the squirrel in the cage.
So in broaching the internet of 2006, I found out how much things had really changed. Google came on board and changed the way EVERYONE does business online. And the internet experts? There are literally hundreds of them. But over time, I’ve come to learn to respect a few names that I keep coming across.
I’ve purchased two of his products already, and I’m really impressed with Brad Callen, a 30-something online entrepreneur. By age 26, he and his wife owned their house outright. Quite a feat in this day and age, more now than ever before. What I learned from this young internet marketer is that if a kid can do it (excuse me Brad, you’re younger than my children) I could do it.
The products of his that I have and recommend are as follows: Article Submitter and Affiliate Elite
I’ve also picked up his book, the SEO Mindset, and have just started going through it. Brad’s a whiz, and maintains high integrity in all his products and services. I can’t say enough good stuff about him.
I just ordered Affiliate Elite and when I have more a chance to go through it, I’ll give you a more thorough review. But if it’s like any of his other products, it comes with solid internet business acumen.
Other products by Brad: Keyword Elite and SEO Elite
But so far, what I have used I am very pleased with. As a writer, his Article Submitter program has made it easier for me to get my articles out there and quickly. Thanks Brad!
