The last few weeks have been a real drag for me. I keep waiting for something to happen, for something to be different-to get over that last bit of the hill and reach law of attraction bliss where all my dreams come true instantaneously. Not that it hasn’t happened before for me, but this time I made the stakes higher.
Hah! What a joke that turned out to be ON ME! I’ve been pushing against my job, my life as it is, reaching and straining for that golden ring every time the merry-go-round goes round. I’m 55 and I’ve been through this cycle a time or two — you would think I would remember? Push, push, push. What you resists persists most definitely. I guess that’s why I always liked cars with manual transmissions – when you’re stalled you can just pop the clutch as long as you’ve got a small hill and the push to get it going.
I’m just stubborn – that’s what it is – and oftentimes refuse to see exactly what is staring me in the face because I’ve got my eye on that mountain I’ve just got to move right now thank you very much! And trust me, I’ve moved a few in my time.
Just because I was born under the sign of the Ram doesn’t mean that I have to butt everything out of my way – I keep forgetting that I’m sure footed enough to go OVER the mountain instead of trying to push it aside. And yes, faith as small as a mustard seed does move mountains – but what’s the point if it is an incredible view?
So in a turn of the tables – I’ve decided to go on a rampage of appreciation, because I am atop that mountain now and the view is outstanding! Rosy glow sunrises, battles with woodpeckers, messages from red hawks and a drop by of a friend or two from the other side – what more could a girl want?
Life is good. Life is really, really good. Just let it be. Remember those words of wisdom? Let it be.
