Most people want money.  This is a given fact.  Look at old Ben there with his pursed lips.  They look kind of tight  and judgmental don’t they?  He’s saying, ” tch-tch-tch.  Want me?  Come and Get Me!”  Believe it or not, this is a man who loved beer.  Loved it.  Love-love-loved it!  And he was a writer. And a newspaper editor.  First one stateside I bet.  So why is he saying, “tch-tch-tch?”

He’s amazed at what folks are doing with this law of attraction thing.  How they think  that right out the gate that they’re just going to sit on their couch and dream themselves the winning lottery numbers.

Folks sign up for this or that program designed to bring them money RIGHT NOW, RIGHT AWAY.   They buy this internet product or that, in hopes of achieving their life-long goal:  Get rich and then sit on the couch watching reruns of Jerry Springer.  When it doesn’t happen they get pissed off and walk away.

“This Law of Attraction stuff doesn’t work,” they say as they scuff their feet.

I’m here to tell you that the LOA does work, but not in that way.

“WHAT?”  They scream in fear and confusion.  “That’s not what so-and-so said!”

I don’t care what so-and-so said.  Don’t make money the goal.  Not in the beginning anyway.  The Law of Attraction works, but oftentimes desiring money in and of itself goes against every grain you may have, albeit unknowingly.

We were all raised with positive and negative beliefs as we grew.  These beliefs got imprinted on OUR internal map (each map is different) that serves to guide us through life.  Oftentimes, the stuff we find on this map got there without our “seeming” permission.

How do you find out what’s on your map about money?

Just look at your parents.  Generally we get our money beliefs (and a whole lot more) from them.

Your “money” beliefs are either:

  1. Exactly the same as their beliefs
  2. Exactly opposite to their beliefs
  3. A mish-mash of the two

Unfortunately oftentimes our beliefs get created as a “reaction” to rather than an “action” toward.

So bottom-line, the money-beliefs we have are mostly 1, 2, or 3, above and can be tangled up in our self-esteem and a WHOLE lot of other issues.  So when you’re first starting out with the Law of Attraction, don’t desire the money, desire the THING money buys.  This way you remove a big block out of the way up front.

(Later, when you’re ready,  go out and find some program that will help you replace your negative money beliefs with positive ones.  I know of several, just email me).

By removing the request for money, you don’t have to worry where that New Anything is coming from – your job is to desire it and then move into a position to receive it.

Just like a receiver on a football team.  He may go out to receive the pass, but he can’t receive it if he’s not in position.  GET INTO POSITION.  The universe will throw you the pass.  You just need to CATCH IT.

And the next, and the next, and the next, until you find yourself on the GOAL line.

Amazing how that works, isn’t it?

But let me tell you this:  if you’re sitting in the bleachers criticizing the players, and then tell others, this Law of Attraction BS doesn’t work – the last laugh’s on you.  All the players know it works, that’s why they’re on the field. Of course it can’t work for you – you’re sitting in the bleachers. The bleachers are for the fans, not the players.

The play is on the field, dude.
