Go inside – ask yourself – what does it feel like?  If you’re feeling scared, stop right now.  Stop.  Breathe.  Breathe in and out from your belly.  Let your mind go quiet.  Get in touch with the deep stillness, the quiet.  From there you will see that everything is fine.

Everything really is ok.  In the Sacramento Basin of California it’s a wonderfully beautiful fall day.  The winds have come and blow the arms of the trees around.  When I walk beneath them, they all wave to me in their joy.  Squirrels (even in the business complex) skitter around in the parking lot looking for leftovers.  Birds hop around pecking at bugs and seeds found on the ground.  All is well.

The sun, though closer to earth in this fall season, is gently warm on the skin.  An azure sky greets me every which way I look.  The earth hums with well-being.  Dandelions gently fly up and around and down to the ground.  The first fall leaves run across the road in a race to the finish.

This is in the city.  The city is Rancho Cordova, California and is located at the bottom of the Sierra Nevada foothills in the San Joaquin Valley, California’s breadbasket to the world.

If you can tear yourself away from the news, get off the Google news page for a while, and look outdoors, in fact, go stand outdoors where-ever you are and embrace the day, you will find that it is an good day indeed to be alive.  YOU ARE ALIVE!  You are breathing!  Think about the alternative.

As said earlier you don’t see any zebras lining up to pull their money out of banks or scurrying about like mad hens wondering when the sky is going to fall.  Here’s a clue:  it isn’t!

Don’t let the media naysayers have at your head.  Do yourself a favor – turn off the news and tune into your Source.  It will go much easier for you if you do.
